Salary up to : Competitive About the role : Nando’s is on a journey to Create Lasting Happiness, making a difference to the lives of our People, our customers and the communities we work in The Digital Team plays a pivotal role in helping us to reach our audiences to deliver engaging stories via digital channels and is also pivotal to the ongoing improvement of the digital experience for online collection and delivery The UX / UI Designer should have a passion for all things product design with a solid understanding of the discovery process, heuristics and ux methodologies, while having the UI skills to use existing components from our Design System and create new ones which are not yet in the system.

As a UX / UI Designer, you will use your skills to Work within a growing multi-disciplinary team to identify customer needs and problem solve pain points to create the next evolution of Nando’s food menus.

Discover, define insight and ideate on the menu of the future, considering multiple digital channels, how this can influence the physical world of restaurants Trial new ways to present a menu.

Identify and improve ways of working for menu updates. Ensure we design our experiences to enable customers to seamlessly transition between our digital and physical channels.

A champion of accessibility, you will ensure our digital products and services are inclusive for all. Use our shared sketch component libraries to create a mobile first UI, creating new components that solve the problem but aren’t part of the existing library.

Contribute to our communities of practice through knowledge-sharing and presentations with other members of the UXD team.

As a UX / UI Designer, You Will Need : Proven work experience in design, preferably in an agency, startup or product team.

Stong communication and collaboration skills. To have previous knowledge of contributing to a design system. To have designed multiple projects from product inception through delivery and into iterative design, with a very strong background in UX.

To be a proven self-starter with the ability to work confidently within ambiguous environment. To have an enthusiastic attitude with a team-first mentality, with an incredible eye for detail and craft.

Excellent knowledge of tools for design (e.g. Sketch, Adobe CC, prototyping) and delivery (e.g. Zeplin, Abstract). A good understanding of the challenges and opportunities that exist within the casual dining space.

Have an open approach to giving and receiving feedback. Be passionate about all things design.
