We are looking for an active & driven Human Resources Placement Student to join our team specializing in Human Resources to have the great opportunity to assist with Employee Relations, lead own HR related projects and deal with various challenging stakeholders for our Engine Business segment in Darlington.
During your 12-month placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways :
Supporting over 1000 employees and managers at the Darlington Engine and Emission Solutions Plant in customer and business focused support functions.
Partnering directly with employees and managers on all areas of the people profession Onboarding, learning and development, people analytics, talent management and resourcing, employee relations and diversity and inclusion.
Quickly gain a high level of responsibility on key projects and will gain exposure to senior management and leaders across the organisation.
Assisting with visa management tasks
Supporting Line HR with ad hoc or regular tasks as needed
To be successful in this role you will need the following :
We are looking for a wide range of applicants studying towards a Bachelor or Master's degree in Human Resources or Business Management with significant modules in Human Resources and not graduating this academic year.
Must have a passion for learning, be able to work inclusively and value people.
Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude due to direct employee and manager contact and support required.
High level of confidentiality due to the nature of the work in the HR team, well organized and able to deal with multiple priorities.
