All Sunrise homes have Assisted Living and Reminiscence (dementia) neighbourhoods, and you will have the opportunity to work with residents of varying needs and backgrounds.
You don’t have to have worked in care before, as we provide a full two week induction plus regular support and mentoring.
It’s much more important to us that you are kind, patient and reassuring to our residents.
You’ll be able to effectively and clearly communicate in English both verbally and in writing, and have competent IT skills.
You will have sound judgement, initiative and problem-solving skills.
Vocational qualifications at levels 2 or 3, and medication administration training is desirable, but not essential as long as you are willing to undertake training and qualifications.
All our Care Assistants must be able to work flexible hours including weekends
