Use generalist and specialist knowledge to contribute to the development and drive the delivery of key company level local and global HR programmes that impact across their area of responsibility.
Partners the business managers to agree, drive and achieve people based objectives.
Plan and facilitate global mobilisation of people to meet the resourcing strategy of the business unit or project.
Provide specialist advice and support to the Management team regarding the Global Mobility Framework and principles to mobilise expats in line with defined policies and processes.
Ensure that all aspects of the International Assignees lifecycle, from posting to repatriation / retirement are delivered in an accurate and confidential manner.
Manage and support people aspects of business change programmes such as restructuring and redundancy.
Leads and delivers key HR projects to ensure HR best practice and quality standards are implemented e.g. organisational redesign, change management, reward & recognition initiatives, employee relations issues, resourcing programmes etc within organisational remit.
Recommend and deliver additional or improved benefits or reward plans to retain people within WorleyParsons.
Work in partnership with senior management and business leaders to implement HR strategy and achieve the right solutions for their business area.
Investigate and report leaver issues within HR team and make recommendations for future WP retention strategy.
Drive and participate in both UK and global HR project work as required , such as policy revisions and reviews, improvement programmes, focus groups and engagements surveys.
Develop plans in line with WorleyParsons UK people to meet the needs of business unit or project and to promote WP people standards and ethos at all times.
Develop and maintain effective professional relationships within business unit or project to identify current and future requirements and issues.
Advise on the interpretation and application of all WP HR policies and make recommendations where new policies or improvements are needed.
Supports and leads business management through negotiations / resolution on complex HR issues ensuring a successful closure with minimum impact to the business.
May also be required to support bids for external customers.
Work in partnership with line managers and individuals to deliver annual people activities such as performance management, reward review and talent and succession management as required.
Facilitate the identification of key Talent and make recommendations to support both global and UK talent management agenda.
Work with line managers to develop plans for high performing individuals.
Provide expert, well-reasoned and flexible advice to support line managers in dealing with difficult performance and people issues.
Train and coach line managers in HR and people issues.
Key Skills :
Excellent technical and practical Human Resources skills and able to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to WorleyParsons and its clients.
An excellent knowledge of the fundamental requirements of the Human Resources discipline.
An excellent knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory requirements.
