    WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING

    You will be leading development, deployment and delivering dev to dev training. You will create training materials to be used during training and designing hands-

    on exercises to reinforce the learning. You will enable partner developers to conduct their own training to peers whilst being part of the team responsible for the activities.

    The overall aim will be for yourself to be part of the team to support the rest of the team in growing and developing our academy!

    REQUIREMENTS

  • An absolute passion for training and technology and an ability to learn and adapt quickly to new applications and tech.
  • Accomplished technical writing skills, with the ability to write clear and accurate training outlines and user documentation to support knowledge transfer.
  • Excellent facilitation skills for classroom training and webinars.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Comfortable travelling between UK and overseas customer sites to deliver training.
  • Professional experience using JavaScript (ES6 or higher).
  • A relevant degree in STEM or at least 3 years experience in a technical data integrations or software engineering setting.
  • Experience with processing JSON data, preferably schema-driven
  • DESIRED SKILLS

  • React, Material UI or other JavaScript frameworks for customising UIs, in order to build front end applications.
  • Elasticsearch (v5 or higher) for storing, retrieving and querying against structured and unstructured text.
  • MongoDB or other NoSQL-like databases.
  • Python or other data science or statistically preferred languages.
  • Kafka and other distributed messaging systems.
  • lodash or other Javascript libraries for utility functions.
  • Npm.
  • An appropriate trainer qualification e.g. CIPD, TAP.
