Asset management company is seeking a Finance Assistant to support to their team at their London offices.

This is an office-based role working 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday.

The Finance Assistant will be an all-rounder and will support with Purchase / Sales Ledger, Accounts Receivable and general administration. Duties include :

  • Coding and processing invoices onto the in-house system
  • Assisting with supplier payments (fortnightly / ad hoc)
  • Liaising with suppliers to ensure account information is accurate
  • Reconciling supplier statements, requesting missing items and ensuring these are processed without delay
  • Dealing with telephone queries from suppliers
  • Sending remittances
  • To provide professional administrative support to field-based property managers with regards to all correspondence and client queries.
  • Processing temporary and fixed term tenancy documents
  • Assist with the collection of debt
  • Posting tenant receipts
  • Providing copy invoices and statements, by email or post as required
  • Resolve any tenant queries
  • Raising ad hoc accounts receivable invoices
  • The ideal Finance Assistant will have the following knowledge, skills and experience :

  • Previous demonstrable finance administration experience.
  • Strong and clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills
  • Proficient IT skills including MS Office and databases.
  • Previous experience of using accounting systems, ideally Oracle
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
