Experienced Installation Engineer required for Marlow based Video / Telecommunications company who specialise in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of high specification communication equipment to Public Sector and Private Commercial Clients.
Excellent opportunities to progress with the company to Helpdesk, Project Engineers and Project Manager positions. The company will provide on going training and support with the latest technology releases.
The role will be suited to an experienced installation and commissioning engineer who have worked on Commercial Static Projects.
Possession of Certification is highly desirable though not essential. You will have experience of Microsoft Teams and Teams Rooms, Cisco and Polycomm System Installations.
Managerial experience is beneficial, but a good installation background is essential.
The core function of the role is to lead the client installation, ensuring the successful integration and quality control of Company deployed equipment, as well as other manufacturer products.
The successful candidate will conduct and complete full commissioning of all equipment on the client site and deliver client training ensuring complete satisfaction.
The Engineer will ensure that all equipment is tested, delivered, installed, and commissioned on a timely basis, adhering to all relevant quality control procedures.
The company are a renowned supplier of high specification video systems, facilitating global video communications for a variety of Public and Private sector clients.
The Role in Brief :
Take responsibility, as required, for delegating tasks on-site, managing the workload of the on-site team, in conjunction with the Project Manager’s instructions, and ensuring that the project installation is completed on time and to the highest possible standards.
Ensure that all equipment is tested, delivered, installed and commissioned on a timely basis, adhering to all relevant quality control procedures.
Have a thorough understanding of each system to be deployed and of the client environment, to ensure readiness for attending site.
Verify that equipment on site exactly matches what is stated on the delivery note.Complete all commissioning tests and paperwork to verify that each system is deployed and operating correctly.
Provide User Training as required.Assist with technical support services, where required, including Helpdesk and on-site support to identify and rectify faults reported by clients whether nationally or internationally.
The Person Required :
CTS / CTS-I is highly advantageous but not essential.
