    Hours : 37.5hrs per week Monday Friday (shifts between 07.30 and 18.30)

    Salary : £21,000 - £24,913 per annum (dependent on candidate experience)

    Job Description

    The Customer Care Advisor will be the first point of contact for HCA laboratories. They will manage telephone enquiries efficiently and accurately.

    Duties and responsibilities

    Incoming / outgoing mail distributionPreparation and distribution of letters and correspondenceCreation of client accountsLiaise with GLA’s / couriersDistribute Clients’ monthly invoicesSend Client cheques to Head Office for bankingEnsure all blood forms are scannedAdministering the revenue management cycle (invoicing and debt)Produce and distribute correspondence and newsletters to Laboratory clientsAdministration of the Vendor and Client management processesHandling results enquiries from HCA Hospitals and external clients


    knowledge of different sample types and suitabilityExperience of using switchboard / telephone systemUnderstanding of Meditech computer system and test mneumonicsKnowledge of medical and laboratory terminology
