Project Management Customer Support

Job Purpose :

This position is a key role in the Diagnostics Customer Technical Support function within Europe. You will Lead projects within Customer Support across Europe providing support to the leadership team and geographies in the scope to improve adoption of Lean tools and continuous improvement.

In this role you will Support lean events (PSP / Kaizen) to develop new processes or improvement of existing process and help resolve ongoing critical issues

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities :

  • Contribute to construction / publication of KPI reports across the geographies in the scope
  • Drive adoption of standardised reporting, analytics and data management
  • Contribute to development of new process or improvement / enhancements to existing process including procedures and work instructions in the quality system
  • Formulate dashboards, benchmarking and other analytics to proactively alert the organisation about performance and issues, utilizing Lean tools
  • Provide business analyses related to improve Service Operations within the geographies in the scope with recommendations
  • Provide strong commercial / operational / financial decision support to line manager
  • Document Standard Works (procedures / work instructions), drive continuous improvements using Lean Processes , and always challenge status quo
  • Business partner Field Service Country Management in the geographies in the scope in driving the Business - provide business analysis and insights
  • Support line manager for parts cost management with specific actions / OBI report analysis
  • Coach the service team in terms of process
  • Independently able to research and resolve issues
  • Perform all other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time by line manager
  • Personal Profile :

  • Good communications skills in English, other languages would be beneficial
  • Works under standard practices or protocols
  • Experience handling the international markets will be an advantage
  • Possesses strong analytical, problem solving and inter-personal skills
  • Possesses excellent attention to detail, self-starter, quick learner and team player with ability to drive initiatives and change
  • Experience of project management
  • Exposure to and participation in a wide variety of Lean events would be beneficial
  • Skills - Essential :

  • Bachelors degree (or equivalent)
  • Operating knowledge of Oracle / ServiceMax / Excel systems is needed for work purposes
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office application particularly Excel and Word
  • The incumbent will divide their time between field and home with occasional office activities. There will be frequent travel, with some time away from home as circumstances require.
