Cisco is seeking an inspirational Client Director to lead a dedicated and committed team of sales and technical specialists to drive our relationship with a major client RBS.

This is a hands-on, customer facing role that will stimulate and develop the most capable leaders in our industry.

What you'll do

  • You will operate at Board level within the client to build a shared vision for the future state of their relationship with Cisco and then lead the realization of that vision
  • You will provide professional leadership and coordination of all Cisco client-facing resources
  • You will identify and address shifts in Client needs or strategy driven by external or internal catalysts
  • You will lead the engagement of multiple Cisco senior executives
  • You will represent client requirements back into Cisco to drive innovation, solution creation and process change
  • You will formulate innovative value propositions and business solutions for the client leveraging the broad portfolio of Cisco's Product, Services and Ecosystem Partners
  • You will run the overall profitability of the client relationship
  • You will craft sustainable revenue streams with the Client encompassing products, Consulting Services and annuity-based service franchises
  • Who you'll work with

    You will work closely with RBS and everyone in Cisco to make the business relationship a success!

    Who you are

  • You bring 10+ years of Strategic Account Management experience within the Business / Financial Services Sector, with experience of Business Transformation and Consulting engagements.
  • You have 4+ years of management experience
  • You have experience of selling multi-faceted solutions to large, complex organisations within Financial Services sector.
  • you have demonstrable success in achieving and exceeding sales and financial goals
  • You naturally have the ability to build and maintain extensive customer relationships at Board level
  • You have significant experience in building, leading and developing a sales team and handling wider resources through influence
  • You have deep understanding of the business relevance and value of Information Technology
  • You have a Bachelor's Degree in a computer science, engineering or business related discipline.
  • What you'll do

    You will Create client value by proactively identifying business opportunities. Client alignment - build a deep understanding of the client's business and political drivers

  • Critical Thinking : Identifying and understanding issues, problems, and opportunities; comparing data from different sources to address sales challenges and new opportunities;
  • taking courses of action based on sound analysis and judgement that appropriately consider customer and partner business capabilities and issues, available facts, constraints, competitive circumstances and probable consequences.

  • Building Influential Relationships : Working collaboratively with customers, channel partners, and client team members to meet business goals and objectives;
  • using appropriate communication methods to influence others and establish relationships.

  • Business and Financial Acumen : Numerate with a sound grasp of financial and business strategies
  • Ability to leverage understanding of the client's economic and buying environment to formulate compelling and innovative commercial propositions which create clear alignment between the client and Cisco in pursuit of client success.
