Provide technical support where required in relation to products, pension regulation and appropriate taxation;
Provide technical support in the development of new products to ensure the product technical specification is accurate;
Provide support in the form of training for the Client Services or other teams as required;
Ensure systems and processes are in place to support all new products and / or products enhancements.
Technical Knowledge and skills :
Ability to work under pressure and manage change;Excellent communication skills (written and verbal); Excellent customer service skills;
Working knowledge of the spreadsheets and word processing; Able to create and maintain clear written procedures; Negotiation and influencing skills.
Detailed : Detailed knowledge of pension and their technical requirements;Detailed knowledge of investments and investment processes;
Detailed knowledge of IOM and UK pension regulations.
Qualifications : At least 5 years’ experience working in a technical pensions role;Relevant industry or finance sector qualification;
Maintenance of required technical and industry / regulatory knowledge required to support role.
Competencies : Commercially minded and innovative; Ability to effectively develop and manage key business relationships both internal and external;
Ability to make decisions in line with personal ownership and authorities; Ability to embed a client centric mind-set amongst team members which ensures the delivery of excellent client service.
