Opportunity dur to promotionStrong Pe-Contracts DivisionExciting career progressionAssistant Pre-contracts ManagerAn exciting opportunity for an ambitious and dynamic candidate to work on the pre-contract division of a 1st Tier Principle fit out contractor as an Assistant pre-Contracts Manager!The role entails assisting the Pre-Contracts Manager on Interior fit out projects from initial client meeting through the pre-contract stage.
This will include working with design development, estimating, technical evaluation, assembling documentation for tenders, contract agreement up to the point of hand over to the Contracts Manager who will undertake the build process thereafter.
Responsibilities : This is a client facing role working on projects ranging from c. min 300k to 5m+Co-ordination of design and sub-contractor pricing.
Help in the preparation of detailed cost plans / budget guidance for client presentation and review.Minimum 2 years’ experience in a quantity surveying / estimating / pre-contracts / project management role with a D&B company (not a must) or a small to medium main contractor.
A strong awareness of the balance of risk and profit is essential.Good commercial understanding of the market and market values.
Excellent attention to detail.Experienced user of Microsoft Excel, Outlook & a planning software package such as ASTA Power project.
Skills required : The role will be within a small friendly team, an ability to work well with others and multi task where necessaryConfident manner.
Interpersonal skills able to communicate effectively and clearly to clients and colleagues.Ability to be able to work under pressure and react quickly in pressured circumstances.
