We are seeking an experienced Production Planner for our Automotive based customer in the Aston area. ALL applicants must have experience with ERP and SAP systems.
1. Final assembly scheduling
2. Control finished axle stock levels, coordinating, and communicating information
3. Machine Shop Scheduling, coordinated to assembly requirements
4. Customer liaison and planning of dispatches
5. Monitoring and ensuring availability of customer packaging
6. Oversee EDI communications including the issue of Customer ASNs
7. Supervise the production receiving of finished axles into stock ensuring stock is booked ready for shipping
8. Issuing of dispatch paperwork with appropriate transactions
9. Creation of short-term sales forecasts and medium-term capacity planning (with Production Management) using customer schedules
10. Manage performance measures from the end customer, tracking company scores and responding to issues as raised
11. To work within a team environment, applying continuous improvement and DOS lean methodology wherever possible.
You must come with the following attributes to apply for the Production Planner vacancy :
1. Supply chain / automotive experience
2. Ability to work under pressure / Just In Time scenarios
3. Able to problem solve
4. Comfortable in using SAP / similar stock management platforms to an intermediate level
5. Background within a supply chain planner role, working to demanding manufacturing volumes
In turn, you will receive a base rate of £12.15 with overtime applied for any hours worked over 37 per week
Hours : 0600-1330 / 1330-2100 (rotating weekly)
