  • Monitor and Maintain the Telematics system in conjunction with our telematics providers to ensure that the data held is up to date and accurate in order to ensure the integrity and effectiveness of the system and the data available from it.
  • Provide System generated reports to a variety of Dealers and Customers to support the monitoring of Fleet performance in order to maximise asset utilisation and efficiency.
  • Provide Analytical and technical support to Dealers, Customers and the Aftermarket teams to assist in the investigation of break downs, incidents and warranty claims.
  • Analyse Machine data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement and provide support to Engineering, After-Market management and External stakeholders in the use of the data.
  • Liaise with the Helpdesk teams as required in order to escalate identified problems appropriately to a dealer or customer level and were necessary facilitate the solution in a timely manner.
  • Engage with Product Management, product design groups, and electrical engineering teams to ensure new system designs conform to dealer and customer expectations in relation to the data available.
  • Support the Installation and verification of the Telematics system across all Factory locations.
  • Create and Maintain training material in line with organizational objectives
  • Observe and evaluate the effectiveness of delivered training and make improvements / modifications were necessary.
  • Actively participate in the Monthly data council, through monitoring and understanding of the fleet data on the CRM dashboards.
  • Stay abreast of new developments in Telematics in order to support the continued evolution of the Telematics offering across the MP Business lines.
  • Experience & Qualifications :

  • A good Working Knowledge of Heavy Equipment would be an advantage.
  • A relevant qualification in engineering, computer science and / or relevant experience
  • Knowledge / experience of Fleet Operations and Telematics systems
  • Clear understanding of Product testing procedures, documentation and validation
  • Good English communication skill, both written and spoken;
  • Good Presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent Organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to lead projects from conception to on time delivery would be a distinct advantage
  • Ability to recognize and analyze risk.
  • Computer literacy with a working Knowledge of Microsoft office, Word & Excel
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

  • A Can do attitude and ability to interact with a multi-functional team.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and on own initiative with minimal supervision along with the ability to proactively plan and prioritise own workload
  • Able to assess workload and commit to realistic timelines.
  • Able to select from multiple design alternatives when a clear best choice is not evident.
  • Able to investigate root cause of system data inaccuracy.
  • Can identify risks both technical and commercial with proposed product change or new product
  • Position is based from any N. Ireland Terex Location with scope for home working
  • Some travel may be required.
