The Controller needs to support Management with clear and objective comments on different daily business matters and provide both Management and Operations with guidance and monitoring regarding business performance.
The Controller will closely follow-up any risk that might arise from open items within the balance sheet, ensuring Management are alerted to any adverse exposure.
Key tasks / responsibilities
Review the SAP BPC reporting to head office, ensure all deadlines are met
Analyse the results of the company and discuss with the country Management
Review and assist in the preparation of the estimation of the work in progress and gross profit
Analyse the site results and propose different initiatives to improve the profitability
Monitor the evolution of the gross profit in terms of volumes / margins and provide a forecast for month end
Monitor the balance sheet to ensure we do not carry any risk and follow-up as necessary
Participate in the Local Management meetings
Ensure that the different financial processes are respected locally, not only by the Finance employees, but also Operational personnel
Prepare information for audits and Group Controlling visits
Follow-up Webcost / Operational KPI’s
Support the review and follow-up of overheads cost
Liaise closely with Management and provide additional support as required
Ad-hoc duties as may arise
Skills :
Must be able to communicate well with all levels of the business.
Qualified controller with at least 2-4 years of proven controlling experience with solid experience in finance, business performance, planning and analysis.
Audit experience would be beneficial
IT : Good knowledge of Excel is essential, SAP knowledge would be an advantage
Team player, have a creative and problem solving approach, ability and willingness to work to tight deadlines
