Room Services Assistant Manager - Soho Farmhouse
To assist the department manager; key responsibilities include :
Leading Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner in Room Service. This includes taking orders, delivering Room Service, ensuring quality of service & direction of Operators on shift.
Assisting & directing service on the Eating / Drinking Floats, assisting the Lead Chef / Bartender in bookings & events, management of stock, service quality & cleaning standards.
Editing of menus across the site; using the Adobe Indesign system to edit menus, and publishing to website & in-room televisions.
Assisting Head Chef in management of Allergens & allergy matrix on each service.
Assisting Department Manager in writing of rotas, and using Fourth system to complete payroll at the end of each shift.
As well as HR requirements for the department as necessary, including hiring, performance management & disciplinaries.
Reporting to Senior Management on department revenue, business & staffing needs.
Attending relevant Food & Beverage, Hotel, & Events Meetings as necessary. Communicating & Cross-Training with other Departments as necessary.
Working with Department Manager & Supervisor to train and progress Cabin Services Operators, Bartenders & Chefs.
Managing department area & vehicles, for cleanliness and correct use.

Key Skills for this role include :
Previous Food & Beverage Management / Team Leader experience essential.
Confident use of Computers. Experience with Microsoft Office packages (Word & Excel) essential. Experience with Adobe InDesign desirable, but not essential.
Full UK Drivers’ License essential.
Quality restaurant and bar service experience essential.
Service management and complaint handling experience essential.
Team leadership skills essential. Experience working solo and as part of a team effort essential.
