Job Description

A national care provider with an excellent reputation for providing high quality care services to children and working aged adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health conditions is seeking a Registered Manager for their Registered Residential home providing accommodation & support for people with learning disabilities and complex needs in Northern Ireland.

Applicants willing to relocate will be considered and a relocation package is available

As a company they provide care into Residential & Supported Living Services as well as Domiciliary Care and Day Opportunities.

The successful applicant with be responsible for :

  • Providing effective and inspiring leadership of the staff team within the service.
  • Building extensive relationships with all stakeholders
  • Driving forward the business with potential commercial acquisitions etc
  • Being accountable for the strategic performance, management, delivery and development of operational activities in the area
  • Being the registered manager for a designated area and overseeing a community outreach service
  • Skills and experience required :

  • A track record of working at this level, you must be able to register with RQIA and NISCC and have experience in the Social Care at management level
  • A history of working within the health and social care sector with clients with learning disabilities, autism & mental health conditions
  • Work history in residential care for working aged adults would be a bonus
  • A solid understanding of the regulation and quality improvement authority (RQIA) or a desire to pick this up
  • Excellent communication skills; with a passion for engagement with Service Users, Staff, Families, Commissioners, NISCC, RIQA
  • An ability to work effectively within a business planning and performance management environment.
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • A valid driving license is essential
  • Salary £25,000 £29,000 plus bonus scheme

    Full Time (40 hours per week)
