We are a growing school (14-19 admitting up to 150 students in Year 10 and Year 12 each year) and we moved into our brand new building in September 2016.

Being the coastal hub for engineering and physics and working closely in partnership with our coastal secondary schools and fellow University Technical Colleges across England we are ambitious, innovative and dedicated to the young people of Scarborough and surrounding coastal areas.

In 2018 we welcomed our new Principal and we have over hauled our pastoral systems, curriculum and built a staff team of practitioners and support staff who are working hard to deliver our vision.

Our Opportunity

We are looking for a Receptionist to join our friendly and committed team taking responsibility for our busy Reception area.

A confident and calm communicator, you will be the first point of contact for all students, staff and visitors to the school, ensuring our students’ safety and security by checking all people entering and leaving the building.

You will operate the switchboard and deal with calls and general enquiries and utilise your IT and organisational skills to complete administrative duties as directed.

You must have excellent customer service skills and communication and interpersonal skills to deal politely and assertively in a number of situations.
