Why this role matters

As a passionate and dedicated leadership & learning partner you will be accountable for improving our people leader and technical delivery capability across Technology by leading e2e strategic programmes of work.

Bringing outside in thinking and data driven analysis you will be responsible for consultation, design, delivery, facilitation and evaluation.

You will also ensure the embedding of innovative behavioural and capability uplift projects that equip, excite and engage leaders and their teams.

Focusing on outcomes you will liaise with best in class partners to source or co-create programmes in support of Technology strategy.

What you'll be doing

Provide thought leadership to LLT team and business unit by bringing outside in thinking and expertise to ensure that our leaders and teams are competent, highly effective in their delivery and are engaged

Manage the identification, business case, development, implementation, delivery of and embedding of learning to address identified skill gaps for business unit including the use of appropriate data

Work with external and internal partners to source best in class providers to create innovative behavioural change programmes and learning solutions that stretch and challenge the learner

Facilitate bespoke sessions for leaders and their DRs to build leadership capability

Lead on identified programmes of work to provide end to end ownership and accountability

Implement the new BT career framework structure and working with senior leaders and subjext leads to land and embed it effectively.

Accountable for provision of information relevant to supported business unit(s) eg business metrics and management reporting etc.

Facilitate and deliver leadership content and provide feedback for continuous improvement

Foster inclusivity in all aspects of role to support our culture. Ranging from how you treat people you interact with through to ensuring that all initiatives and materials are inclusive and free of bias.

Manage multiple stakeholders at senior levels establishing credible, high trust productive relationships at senior and middle management level

Delivering work to time and quality.

Up to date with the latest thinking in Leadership & Learning and uses this to inform their own work

Expertise in modern learning solutions and social media providing proactive thought leadership to enable the application of these in a leading edge technology focussed organisation

Understands how the business works seeks information and keeps up to date. Breadth of BT and a depth in the area they are working

CIPD qualification or similar

Facilitating and delivering extensive skills and credibility in facilitating and leading leadership and management development programmes.

Confident & competent at holding a room of leaders in a way that engages and creates impact

Coaching skilled at using coaching as an approach to influence and create impact

Design and delviery of materials proven experience in designing and delivering innovative and effective capability uplift solutions

Track record of making change happen - Catalyst for change with track record in technical skills and leadership and behavioural skills development

Collaborating and influencing : credibly partners with the business and works across Technology influencing and driving results at all levels
