What will you be doing?

  • Provide oversight of subject matter expertise including interpretation of regulation to in relation to Conduct Rules;
  • Responsible for the process to Certify and Register of individuals’ subject to the Certification and Approved Persons Regimes
  • Responsible for the process to Register colleagues for the Central Bank of Ireland’s Fitness and Probity Regime
  • Support with the development and delivery of sustainable solutions relating to SM&CR through implementation of robust tools and frameworks
  • Act as technical escalation point for Glasgow relating to SM&CR, being the relationship lead for London
  • Support with the interpretation and adaption of key regulatory rules, guidance and associated regulatory changes in SM&CR
  • Support with the design of assurance work to assess effectiveness of SM&CR Processes
  • Support with wider SM&CR oversight initiatives as required such as MI dashboards.
  • What we’re looking for :

  • Strong knowledge of relevant financial services regulation, corporate governance requirements and financial reporting
  • Experience in report writing, evidence gathering, fact finding and data analysis
  • Strong project management experience
  • Skills that will help you in the role :

  • Demonstrable leadership and management skills leading matrix work streams
  • Strategic judgment and decision-making abilities particularly the ability to execute complex plans with multiple deliverables.
  • Where will you be working?

    This role will be based in the Aurora Building, 1 of our 3 modern City Centre locations until our exciting new campus location overlooking the River Clyde at Buchanan Wharf is opened in 2020.

    Aurora is close to the main stations, other transport links and also benefits from an onsite canteen.
