The Engineering Services Division is specialised in managing the design, build and handover of high-tech buildings and manufacturing facilities and hyperscale datacentres.

ISG Engineering Services' Project Controls and Planning mission is to provide integrated and fact-based project status and forecast information to facilitate transparent project and management decision making.

The ideal candidate will have excellent fit out construction knowledge in terms of architectural construction detail and the installation and commissioning sequences of M&E services.

They will be able to demonstrate the knowledge through sound programming and sequencing on a range of projects and proposals through various planning techniques and software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Integration into project teams.
  • Provide delivery planning services to project.
  • Set up and manage auditable trails of programme issues.
  • Collate & validate project progress and report to the Project Management Team.
  • Contribute to the efficient way the department is run by feeding lessons learnt and innovation back into the department.
  • Experience & Skills

  • Develop relationships with internal teams, consultants, clients and suppliers.
  • Previous experience of successfully carrying out a similar role to a high quality
  • Track record of successful projects either internally or externally.
  • In-depth knowledge of the construction process, preferably data centre based.
  • Use of a variety of planning tools and software including Primavera P6
  • Understands the pre-construction process. Can organise and manage the design phase of a project. Help prepare and maintain the client decision matrix.
  • Has a good political awareness.
  • Able to collate information from his team to prepare and present the project report.
  • Has been involved in several major new build and complex projects
  • Fully conversant with CDM and all relevant Health & Safety legislation and previous experience of successful implementation on a major project.
  • In addition to general knowledge of common building and service trade, greater in-depth knowledge and expertise in some specific areas e.g. joinery, security.
