Within the department, our Supplier Quality Team focuses on the global network of suppliers, driving improvements and efficiencies within it.
As a result of continued growth, we are pleased to be recruiting for a Supplier Quality Project Manager (known internally as a Supplier Quality Project Supervisor), to join our team in Gloucester.
Reporting directly to the Supplier Quality Manager, this fantastic opportunity will be the interface for implementing Safran supplier quality and, customer driven initiatives.
You will be responsible for taking new initiatives and putting them into practice, developing them, training the team and pulling it all together along with any relevant and supporting IT systems / apps.
To be considered, you will ideally have experience of managing projects within quality and knowledge of new product introduction tools.
You will be familiar with terms such as PPAP and APQP and consider yourself to have strengths in change management, leadership and technology (VBA specifically).
Pragmatic and resilient, you are a forward thinking and hard-working team member who is a clear communicator, with the confidence and ability to train your fellow team members.
You'll also be comfortable and confident in change management.
In the absence of a background in quality, we would expect you to be able to demonstrate experience of managing projects and rolling out new initiatives, and all associated technologies, to ensure success in that project.
