The School

The Role
The successful individual will teach an appropriate mix of undergraduate and postgraduate courses within the School of Computing and Engineering at UWL commensurate with technical knowledge and prior experience.
The post holder should be able to teach a range of subjects with an emphasis on Robotics, including but not limited to : Embedded Systems, Sensors, Actuators, Robotic Motion, Instrumentation, Control Systems, Mechatronics, and software tools including Robot Operating System (ROS).
The post holder should be able to demonstrate strong knowledge and experience in robotics and strategic robotics-related interdisciplinary areas.
They will contribute to research, enterprise development and commercial training in appropriate sub-discipline(s) within the computing field and contribute to community engagement activities of the School.
The Person
The candidate should have knowledge of current practice and ability to teach relevant subjects at both undergraduate and postgraduate level in higher education.
Evidence of teaching experience and an established research track record, or equivalent industrial experience, with appropriate outputs in a discipline relevant to the School are also required.
