Participate in managing the Global Windows support platform by :
Leveraging regional / global skills and locations to deliver a world class, cost effective, operational service
Implementing standard policies and procedures
Driving Service Management and Infrastructure Support of the Windows operating platform.
Escalation point for all Windows Production stability issues and project driven work.
Ensuring adequate documentation for all activities to ensure a high level of service is provided globally by the Windows Team
Responsible for Global Patching Process maintenance and optimisation
Contribution to the establishment of a Global Operating Model.
Accountable for his / her own decisions and actions. Manages own projects, deadlines and responsibilities with minimal management overhead.
Upbeat outlook with a can-do attitude to solving challenges.
Exhibits a broad and deep IT knowledge coupled with equivalent knowledge of the activities of those businesses it supports.

Contributes to the approval of new or amended IT standards, procedures and other quality managed processes. Ensures that adequate technology, procedures and resources are in place to support the quality of the systems.
Maximize efficiencies by reducing complexity and ensuring adherence to standards where appropriate.
Drives Problem Management Processes to establish root cause for all high-profile business outages.
Identifies and plans systematic corrective strategies to reduce errors and improve the quality of Operational services, by examination of the root cause.
Generates appropriate documentation to support relevant processes and systems
Challenges current methods and approaches for resolving technical issues, bringing insight and innovation.
Engages collaboratively and manages key product, client, supplier & stakeholder relationships.
Active contribution to the direction and planning initiatives.
Adherence to financial budgets.
Ensure that all processes are fully documented to guarantee a high level of service can be provided as standard by any team member globally
Skills & Experience
Preferably degree educated.
Industry recognized certification.
Worked in geographically dispersed teams.
Proven experience of managing large scale, disparate Microsoft installations, preferably within a financial environment.
Windows 2019, 2016 & 2012 environments
AWS Experience and knowledge
