We are looking for a hardworking Housekeeper to join our friendly and dynamic team in the Children’s Emergency and Trauma department here at University Hospital Southampton, to work 18 hours per week.
ABOUT THE TEAM
Our Children’s ED and the paediatric assessment have joined to make our new children’s emergency and trauma department.
Within a large teaching hospital we’re also the regional children’s major trauma centre. The new children’s emergency and trauma centre sees approximately 30,000 children and young people.
The purpose built service is a standalone department offering the following facilities an 11 trolley acute illness and injury service, a safe room, eight bedded children short stay, children’s X-ray within the service, a treatment / procedural room.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
The role will involve cleaning general and specialist medical equipment such as defibs and ECG’s, so experience and knowledge of an acute hospital environment is an advantage for this role.
Other key tasks will include :
Agree action plans and ensure action taken where necessary.
