Salary : Dependent on Experience

We're looking for a driven, commercially astute and experienced Finance Business Partner to join the Zeelo team. You will own the key Finance processes across the business running the core accounting through to the commercial partnering with the business

    When you join our team, you'll be expected to hit the ground running, by understanding the industry and the marketplace quickly to support the business.

    We want you to understand the importance of having a robust financial control environment while using MI and analytics to support the business in driving performance.

    A key aspect of the role is to partner with the business and support the functions to deliver the plan / forecast by understanding the impact of decisions being taken.

    Implementing new analysis to help uncover the commercial levers across the business

    You will need to support the business managers with good analysis of results, including detailed customer economics and provide actionable insight that can be delivered by partnering with the key stakeholders across the functions.

    It's really important that you're a great communicator to the non-finance teams, a great team player and get a feel for the right insight needed to drive the right business performance.

    Your main responsibilities will be to :

  • Own the customer / rider economic models, focusing on working with Marketing and Product Operations to drive strong unit economics
  • Develop a robust suite of MI reporting and analysis to keep stakeholders informed on performance across the business
  • Own the month end accounting process with our accountants
  • Build the core finance admin processes to support efficient month end closing, including payroll, AP, banking etc
  • Support the CFO with Board paper preparation and ad-hoc presentations
  • Work with our Operations team to build new analysis into the supply chain and streamline the operational reporting to the business
  • Work with our COO to develop sales pipeline reporting and input into the Financial Planning models to keep updated forecasts
  • Lead the cash reporting / forecasting processes
  • Work with our overseas subsidiaries to collate reporting and ensure consolidated accounts are produced in a timely manner
  • Support the CEO / CFO during funding rounds with preparation of presentations, analysis and due diligence
  • You should have / be :

  • Commercially minded, driven, resilient, proactive and motivated to try new things. You're a self-starter
  • Looking to be fully qualified within the next year, either CIMA / ACCA
  • Experience working across functions and communicating clearly to non-finance teams
  • Experience of preparing financial results to senior managers / Board / Investors
