KPMG runs a series of client relationship programmes in the Marketing team which enables the firm to build relationships with current and future decision makers.
The flagship C-Suite Leadership Programme is one of KPMG’s Strategic Relationship programmes and an important way of strengthening the KPMG brand in the marketplace and building trusted and sustainable client relationships.
This role sits within the UK Marketing team and is focused on the management of the C-Suite Leadership Programme.
The C-Suite Leadership Programme takes senior executives on an intensive, future focused journey that gears them up as leaders and change agents, defining the future of their businesses.
Each year around 40 senior leaders go through an intensive journey as part of the programme. Their seniority requires that the programme is run in a highly professional way with a great deal of attention placed on the delegate experience both overall and at an individual level.
This role reports into the UK Head of Strategic Relationships and involves management of the programme delivery working closely with the teams in our Marketing Centre of Expertise and Operational Excellence Hubs.
Collaboration is at the heart of our new operating model and this role will work closely with our team of Marketing Business Partners and our teams in the Marketing Centre of Expertise and Operational Excellence Hub to deliver world-class relationship programmes for KPMG in the UK.
Description of the role :
PMO responsibility for the multifaceted C-Suite Leadership Programme on a day to day basis : Delegate nominations and on-boarding;
overall delegate and executive sponsor experience, building future cohorts, and managing Delegate 4 Life’ community and events.
Responsible for monitoring and tracking against budget. Negotiating with third parties / speakers to keep costs to a minimum and delivering the programme within agreed budget spend.
Managing delegate invoicing for the programme.
Maintaining regular and fluid communication with programme sponsors and stakeholders via written and verbal communications
Leading weekly team meetings, including agenda setting and oversight of actions / progress.
Be an ambassador for the C-Suite Leadership Programme with lead partners and engage with them to promote and gain commitment to the programme
Oversee the management of our monthly Delegate for Life (D4L) events as well as proactively identifying and sourcing new, relevant topics and speakers
Ensuring connectivity with other programmes and marketing activity as relevant
Work with other Centre of Expertise team leaders to ensure adequate resources are in place to allow effective alignment and delivery of programs within agreed budget as well as reporting and KPIs.
Developing and producing all programme collateral and brochures
Stakeholder Interaction & challenges :
Key stakeholders for the role holder will be the Head of Strategic Relationship programmes and other Marketing and Strategic Relationships Leaders.
Liaison will also be required with the firm’s leadership and relevant CLPs.
You will be comfortable with running multiple projects at once, working with the Strategic Relationships team and Campaign Delivery to ensure strong delivery of programmes, identifying areas for your focus and delegating or working and delivering through others where appropriate.
You will be adaptable, with good written and visual communication skills, capable of translating ideas into programme deliverables.
You will understand the importance of good relationships both within and outside the organisation, working closely and intuitively with Marketing colleagues, within the wider UK Marketing team, and other functions within KPMG (in particular colleagues across Market Development, PR, Internal Communications and Corporate Affairs).
Proven programme management skills with some experience of managing complex programmes

Expertise / Technical role requirements :
BA university degree or equivalent
Proven expertise in Programme and Management essential
Project Management accreditation desirable
Budget management experience essential
Experience within the professional services industry at a senior level
Highly proficient in all MS Office packages
A good general knowledge of the business, economic, political and social issues prevalent within the UK, Europe and internationally
Previous experience of business / relationship development in a professional services organisation is highly desirable
High level of project and programme management and reporting expertise
At interview, you will be able to demonstrate good knowledge of KPMG’s key strengths brand proposition and strategic priorities
