Service Design Analyst / / Cardiff / / £41,500

My Client, a national provider of services with incredible progression opportunities, are looking for a talented Senior Service Design Analyst to assist the Service Architect on a number of exciting projects.

Responsibilities :

  • Process owner for Service Design and Implementation activities
  • Ensure that BAU Live Service requirements are articulated, delivered and assured. You will act as the senior point of contact for BAU Live Service during all project phases.
  • Co-ordinate the implementation of major projects and programmes and provide governance and support on SI activity where required.
  • Manage the interfaces between service Implementation management, change management and release management in accordance with defined and agreed procedures, and provide advice and guidance to all practitioners.
  • Ensure that BAU Live Service review Major Incidents, Problems and Lessons Learnt reports post go-live to improve the quality of project output.
  • Provide Status reports on projects from a BAU Live Service perspective.
  • Provide Operational Risk Assessments for new or amended services, flags risks and issues to senior management (as required).
  • Provide training for, and advice and support on, Service Implementation activities.
  • Training and mentoring of members of the team.
  • Plan, arrange and chair meetings and workshops with relevant staff during planning and throughout subsequent quality gate phases, and take responsibility at a high level for the proper conduct of such relations.
  • Confirm that design and operational requirements are incorporated in to project plans.
  • Confirm that project plans are maintained and contain appropriate quality gate milestones.
  • Monitor and review the quality gate status for each project.
  • Manage Service Implementation progress, changes, issues, risks and deviations.
  • Quality review all Service Implementation, release and deployment plans.
  • Monitor and improve Service Implementation performance.
  • Identify improvements to the existing process and assist in their implementation.
  • Produce procedures; enforce quality assurance, templates and documentation according to current good practice standards.
  • Confirm at a project level that Project Managers are reporting all issues, risks and deviations to the appropriate stakeholders and decision makers.
  • Escalate issues seeking agreement and resolution to enable smooth delivery of projects into support.
