We’re looking for more talented Quality Control Inspectors for our vehicle refurbishment process, joining our amazing team at Cazoo, building the UK’s best used car buying experience.

Cazoo will become one of the leading buyers of used car stock in the UK and these roles will be critical in operating our rigorous inspection and refurbishment programme where only the best cars get through to our digital showroom.

We are looking for more Quality Control Inspectors that can work in close conjunction with our partner to ensure the quality of vehicles are in line with our exacting retail standards.

The ability to work collaboratively, efficiently and with a close eye for detail are all essential within a vehicle refurbishment and inspection environment.

The role needs individuals with the right mindset and cultural fit within a fast paced, data-driven business that will transform automotive retailing in the UK.

What you’ll be doing

  • Ensure that the Cazoo Retail Standard 150+ point check & rectification have been carried out to the correct quality standard
  • Identify with the Cazoo outsourced partner more efficient methods of working and cost reduction
  • Through customer feedback help optimise the Cazoo 150+ point inspection
  • Regular audit rectification work (optical bodywork) some days following work within the operating compound to identify any post rectification work or quality trends, not evident at point of initial QC
  • Ensure knowledge of the latest repair and inspection techniques are kept up to date and applied appropriately
  • Full compliance with health and safety policies and where others are not complying to advise management
  • Utilise Cazoo reporting suite, focussing on Inspection and refurbishment cycle time, refurbishment quality, re-work and cost per unit
  • Key skills required

  • Significant vehicle inspection experience, ideally with estimation experience
  • Experience of inspecting in a volume environment
  • Familiar with working with technology, e.g. tablets, smart phones
  • Microsoft Office Intermediate experience, particularly Excel
  • Fast paced mindset
  • Willingness to travel (driving licence required - max 6 points and no disqualifications)

    £27,500 base salary plus discretionary bonus, share plan and benefits.
