As part of central functions, you will help to drive the delivery of Accounting E2E reporting within the Finance strategic transformation programme.
Working with local and group colleagues across the business and Information Technology areas, you will share in the technical and functional vision of the Chief Operating Office.

Managing your day-to-day activities with a high degree of autonomy within prioritised product backlog
Delivering Finance cloud applications and data solutions
Reporting to a Software engineering manager and interacting with a product owner and business stakeholders as well as a scrum master and the development team
Providing BAU support to variety of finance solutions
Ensuring knowledge sharing and promoting team spirit
Analysing current technical implementations and seek continuous improvement
What you’ll bring.
Core Java and Java Springboot application development
Kubernetes, SQL and Unix+ / Linux experience
Technical Analysis, Software development and support.
Ability to work across multiple activities adjusting to shifting priorities
Excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to handle key stakeholders
Continuous integration / deployment
It would also be nice for you to have.
Hadoop and Scala / Spark experience
Contribute to requirements and design documents where applicable
Perform end-to-end integration of multi-tier software applications
What else you need to know.
This role is currently Milton Keynes office based / Home based. Home working is around twice a month or based on team requirements.
We offer flexible working / We will consider people looking at his role in a part time capacity and or Job share.
This is a fixed term contract position until 2024 which has the potential to be made permanent.
