Job Introduction

We are recruiting for an internal Recruiter or Recruitment Resourcer to join the team here at HydraForce Hydraulics Limited for a 6 month FTC.

In this role you will be working alongside the Recruitment Advisor in our HR Team and providing complete 360 recruitment to HydraForce.

You will be involved in resourcing activities, including planning; attracting and selecting new employees, working collaboratively with managers and stakeholders from all areas of the business to provide advice and support to assist each area throughout the recruitment process.

You will also provide support to managers and new employees throughout the induction period to facilitate effective integration of new starters.

Role Responsibility

Recruiter or Recruitment Resourcer - Key responsibilities

  • Contribute to recruitment planning, development and delivery to meet business needs
  • Work with team and stakeholders to understand recruitment needs, agreeing timescales for delivery and key outcomes, effectively managing expectations
  • Maintain competency frameworks for vacancies, to include core qualities and skills required for vacancies, in line with the business’ values
  • Support internal staff with interviews, including coaching and training where appropriate
  • Adhere to the internal recruitment process and ensure existing employees have a positive experience when applying for post internally
  • Onboarding of new employees, working with Learning & Development as required, to ensure a positive experience
  • Ensure recruitment processes are carried out in a professional, structured and consistent manner across the business and ensure they are compliant with regulatory and legal requirements
  • Keep up to date with developments in employment legislation and human resources best practice to ensure continuous development and improvement
  • Provide support to wider HR Team on an ad hoc basis to meet business needs if required
  • Identify and propose improvements to departmental systems and processes to enhance and improve service delivery

    Recruiter or Recruitment Resourcer - Qualifications and Skills

  • Essential* Previous experience working in the recruitment cycle across a wide variety of functions / skill areas from front line employees to management
  • Educated to A’ level (or equivalent)
  • Able to work on both internal and external job boards with writing of job adverts, Bouillon searching, watchdog generation and selection and support to candidates through the complete recruitment process
  • Knowledge & experience of current recruitment best practice & candidate attraction methods
  • Self-motivated and driven but not to the exclusion of others
  • Able to effectively prioritise a diverse and heavy workload, using available resources to meet deadlines
  • Computer literate, with sound knowledge of Microsoft packages, ADP and ATS systems
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is essential
  • Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to take a confident and diplomatic approach
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and tact in difficult situations
  • Maintain confidentiality in all matters
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to develop strong, professional relationships with colleagues and internal / external stakeholders
  • Support will be given by the Recruitment Advisor if you have not worked as an internal recruiter previously, but have worked as either a Recruiter or Recruitment Resourcer
