Nine Twenty are on the lookout for an experienced ' Senior Application Support Engineer' to join their global client on the outskirts of Glasgow.
This role plays sits with a specialist team who deliver Technical Support to the organisations customers and Partners.
This role is supporting our customers in the US, therefore it requires shift work (8 hour shifts covering hours of 8 am 11 pm, there are out of hours payments for working shifts passed 5 pm )
10% bonus contribution
Skills and experience :
Significant experience of working within customer technical support or within a previous customer facing role.
Experience supporting applications or infrastructure to Blue Chip enterprise customers, government agencies, IT professionals and partners
Knowledge of Windows operating systems
Microsoft SQL Server : Transact-SQL and SQL Administration
Experience of SSRS reporting
Knowledge of office software programs, e.g. Microsoft Office
Familiarity with debugging tools / techniques
Experience of troubleshooting and resolving issues in an application support role
Experience of supporting external customers
Ideally you will have some exposure to Workforce Management product's
