About the job : As our new Recipe Development Manager, you will work within the Culinary team at HelloFresh and will create delicious, healthy recipes with the best ingredients! You will manage our Recipe Development Lead and together work on the planning, tracking, coordination, and performance of recipe production and improvement initiatives.

This is a pivotal role in the business and cross-functional work will be critical. What you will be doing : Creating, costing, cooking, and writing delicious recipes based on briefs from the menu planning and Insights functions.

Active feedback of recipes is required across teams.Leading the brainstorming process and inspiring other team members to ensure that all recipes that are created are of the highest calibre and meeting customer demands.

Managing the Recipe Development Lead to ensure that all work is completed in a timely manner and to agreed standards.Managing your team’s recipes through the creation, cooking, testing, and validation process.

Meeting weekly deadlines and ensuring data accuracy throughout.Checking and editing recipes to ensure all ordering data and instructions are correct.

Gathering and responding to customer feedback on a weekly basis. Learning from feedback and reworking recipes to make sure customer satisfaction is guaranteed.

Manage and oversee the selection of ingredients for use in HelloFresh recipes. Make decisions on which ingredients to onboard and manage the relationships with other departments involved in this process.

Gathering best practices from colleagues in other HelloFresh departments and markets to create and implement best practice processes and ways of working.

Who you are : You have experience as a chef / recipe developer with demonstrable evidence of recipe creation, development, and writing.

You have a qualification in nutrition.Ideally, you managed people before.You have good administrative management and IT competencies.

You developed a strong aptitude in costing recipes, a real understanding of the need to hit budgetary targets, and the ability to adjust recipes according to changing business circumstances.

Proven ability to influence key stakeholders, work cross-functionally, and autonomously.Strong analytical skills and competencies and the ability to summarize quantitative concepts into a digestible format.

Ability to manage priorities simultaneously and meet time-sensitive deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Good communication skills.
