This role is for a Systems Engineer (SE) to work within the RMS UK Engineering & Technology (E&T) Team on the design, development, and testing for Airborne Mission Systems and Ground Based Training Systems.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake a variety of technical functions, including technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and analysis.
They will ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions and acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
This will be achieved through the translation of customer requirements into hardware and software specifications using a variety of techniques such as functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies.
The SE will be integral to the successful performance of Lockheed Martin’s programmes in the UK; the candidate will be expected to develop and adhere to challenging schedules.
