We are looking tobring on a new PMO Analyst to join the team on a permanent basis. The objectiveof the role is to perform PMO tasks supporting the Client Delivery department changeactivities.

Stakeholders will be located in the core locations : Glasgow,London, Paris and Chennai.

The PMO Analyst willbe part of a small PMO team supporting the following key areas :

PPMand internal change processes and reporting

ClientChange process and reporting

Provisionof project support

Monitoringand tracking of Governance processes

Capacityplanning

Key to this role isthe principle of improve, govern, control, assure, across the following areas :

TransversalActivities Assist in the day to day collation of data and reporting fordepartmental and transversal activities such as capacity planning, resourcemanagement, forecasting, project planning, RAID management

Communicationand Reporting Deliver high quality reporting to project stakeholders,including sponsors, senior management and our clients

ProjectSupport Assure that project governance is in place, monitor adherence to themethodology, support Project Managers in all PMO aspects and ensure that thedelivery lifecycle is adhered to.

Provide PMO expertise to Project Managers andtraining when required

Client& Internal Change Support Work within the current process for ClientChange, arranging and facilitating governance meetings, tracking changes,monitoring completion, production of MI

Audit& Quality Assurance Measure and report on quality, undertaking oroverseeing Quality Assurance reviews, ensuring that the improvement loop isclosely followed.

Participate in evidence gathering and tracking for bothinternal and client audits

ContinuousImprovement Participate in the transformation of the PMO service, suggestingimprovements and changes to process to improve efficiency and enhance theservice

As the team size issmall, the position is very much hands on, with the opportunity to be involvedin all aspects of the PMO.

Key Responsibilities :

Managechange to the project roadmap and pipeline and provide visibility to relevantstakeholders

Facilitatecapacity planning across a complex portfolio of projects; provide support whereneeded and communicate resource allocation challenges

Providematerials, input and facilitate governance at all levels both internally andfor clients

Producebudget, actuals and forecast information for individual projects through todepartmental view

Monitorbudget and spend for projects

ProvidePMO support and expertise to change teams within Client Delivery

Contributeto the management of standard document repository(ies) and collaborative toolsenabling the sharing of key PMO information

Workwithin the current quality assurance framework, providing detailed, documentedreviews for the required projects in line with the roadmap agreed with thecentral team

Verifyproject tracking, control and reporting; monitor the management of risks, issues,dependencies, actions, tracking to budget, change control and regular reporting

Participatein methodology reviews, constantly ensuring that the methodology is valid andadhered to

Dealwith all levels of the organisation from project team members to seniorsponsors

Participatein a Project Management community forum to share best practice

Identifyand implement opportunities to improve project delivery

Skills and Experience Required Essential :

DemonstrablePMO experience in a similar organisation including capacity planning and governancesupport, including operation of governance processes and preparation ofmaterials

Experienceof financial tracking at project and portfolio levels along with projectplanning and status reporting

Detailedknowledge of project, programme and portfolio management tasks and understandingof the project lifecycle

Proficientin the use of standard project planning and measurement tools

Abilityto deal with all levels of the organisation from developers, team leaders,platform managers through to senior sponsors

Advancedcommunication skills (verbal, written, listening) and highly developedattention to detail

Strongnumeracy skills, able to analyse track and report complex budget information ina clear and consistent manner

Abilityto use Microsoft Office products to a high standard, including MS Project, MSWord, MS Visio, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and SharePoint

Capabilityto be flexible and step beyond this role as and when required

Desirable :

Familiarwith Clarity tool

SharePoint(or similar) administration

Experienceusing Agile frameworks

PRINCE2, PMP or other project management qualification
