Job Title : Business Process Administrator Product Management

Channel : Global Product Management Operations

Reporting to : Director, Global Product Management Operations

Main Purpose of the role :

Working within the Global Product Management Operations Team, the successful candidate will support the Product Management Asset organisation with the maintenance and development of the purchasing controlled Oracle User Defined Parameter’ (UDP’).

You will have a strong technical track record working within a complex ERP systems, be able to collaborate with the Asset teams to understand market dynamics, predict changes in the market and formulate / present recommendations to the Asset leaders which would grow the business in a good market and protect the key financials as the market conditions change and ultimately influence workload.

This role requires a blend of technical and business skills, UDP’ really are the backbone to the Oracle ERP system and have a significant influence over how the purchasing modules with Oracle behave.

Key Tasks / responsibilities :

All tasks are to be carried out with a Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) mindset and total quality manner consistent with company culture and policy.

  • Configure UDP settings in consideration of supplier and changing businesses / markets.
  • Gather supplier and business specific process rules to implement process scenarios in Oracle.
  • Discuss changing / future business and implement process scenario that business can action the right product, to the right time, at the right quantity, to the right cost.
  • Support and drive specific business process project activities
  • Provide and develop metrics for business as basis for decision making.
  • Create metrics / reports together with business and reporting team.
  • Interface with Sales to align strategies. Also work Alliance & AIS UDP s.
  • Monitor automation and workload level in Oracle.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate on all levels and across different cultures
  • Excel proficient, can perform V-Lookups, Pivot Tables and write formulas to check for data integrity / logic
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Access Databases would be at an advantage
