The RoleThe role is responsible for the planning, implementation, management and monitoring of the company’s social media strategy for EMEA, working in tandem with the Social Media Manager, Americas and the global Digital Marketing team.
The role will have a focus on building engagement, raising brand awareness and driving traffic to our website, and to participation in our auctions.

Specific duties & responsibilities will include but are not limited to
Define, measure, and report relevant KPIs in accordance with marketing objectives, benchmarking against historical performance.
Develop, implement and manage overall social media strategy and content for the EMEA region, ensuring alignment with the Social Media Manager, Americas
Reputational management recommendations and implementation where necessary re social
Work closely with the Communications / Marketing Managers, Digial Marketing and Content teams to ensure social media strategy aligns with overall MarComms strategy
Measure the effectiveness of the strategy and individual social media campaign, and using an evidenced-based approach
Close working relationship with key stakeholders including content, digital, communications and marketing, copywriters and designers
Ensure brand consistency in copy through tone, voice and terminology
Network establishment with industry professionals and influencers
Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies
Identify and improve organisational development aspects that would improve social media content (ie : employee training, processes and key metrics)
Regular reporting on progress, learnings, and key packaging tips specialists for sales team and business getters
Demonstrable experience creating and delivering social media strategy to build brand awareness and engagement and conversion, including full optimisation and tracking
Previous experience in managing and implementing evidence-based social media strategy from major campaigns to smaller tactical outreach
Strong understanding and ability in using analytics tools such as Hootsuite, Google and Facebook Analystics and others
Familiarity with Facebook Business Manager , CoSchedule, Asana or similar social media marketing tool, to manage and deliver social content
Excellent knowledge of Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest.
Creativity, innovation and a willingness to challenge assumptions
Ability to present strategies and defend POV to senior stakeholders robustly
Finger on the pulse of emerging networks, platforms and best practices
Excellent multitasking and time-management skills

BSc degree in Media Studies, Marketing or relevant field preferred but experience key
Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites
General knowledge of Search Engine Optimization and internet ranking for web content
Strong understanding of marketing strategy and how to effortlessly utilize these concepts throughout various forms of outreach
A second language is desirable
