What do we need?

We’re looking for a website administrator with a keen eye for detail who has previously worked with websites in some capacity.

You’ll ideally have some experience using content management systems to edit content, images, links and promotional material.

You will also be comfortable installing software and have used virus scanning tools on a PC (although not essential). Some knowledge of HTML will be needed, and you should be keen to learn more about various aspects of website management.

The Role

You will be responsible for making changes that are visible to many customers and are also essential for tracking revenue and performance of digital marketing campaigns.

You’ll be methodical and thorough, keeping on-top of continual updates and reporting on any issues.

The website administrator is a key member of the digital practice team, ensuring our client’s website are maintained and continue to perform well.

You will get the chance to work on some exciting, high profile projects at a rapidly growing digital agency.

  • The requirements of this role are as follows;
  • Make changes to website content as directed by the marketing team
  • Ensure products and promotions are kept up-to-date
  • Keep imagery and branding up-to-date across all products
  • Ensure promotional links and offers are tagged up correctly
  • Monitor and fix any broken or outdated links
  • Manage software updates including version control, virus scanning and changelogs
  • Reporting of any threats or malware
  • Publish new or updated products to the database
  • Maintain program documentation in-line with software changes
  • Maintain all process documentation
  • Data Management

  • Extract data and populate reports
  • Cross-referencing data and ensuring accuracy
  • Provide details of any changes which may have impacted performance (such as publishing new software titles)
  • Essential Skills

  • Basic knowledge of HTML
  • Content management experience
  • Attention to detail
  • An aptitude for learning
  • Any of these would also really help

  • Understanding of software version control, beta software and changelogs
  • Experience using FTP software (such as FileZilla)
  • Experience using virus scanning software
  • Knowledge of website hosting
  • Database management
