We require resilient Senior Support workers to work alongside the management team in our dual and solo placements for Children and Young People in the Southport Area.

Level 3 Diploma in Children's Residential services is essential, as well as a minimum of 18 months experience working in a Children's Residential setting.

Duties include :

  • Taking point on shift and leading by example
  • Delegating duties fairly amongst staff
  • Training up new members of staff
  • Participating in on call rota and taking out of hours calls when required
  • Ensuring daily reports, health and safety checks and care plans are completed and up to date
  • Assisting with the support and ensuring the Child or Young Persons needs are always met.
  • Working in partnership with Deputy Manager
  • Assisting with supervisions and appraisals
