Reporting jointly to Trade and Treasury Services(TTS) and Issuer Services and Securities Services(ISSS) Risk Management seniors, this role will be part of both teams, and will involve EMEA andÂ APAC coverage.
A key focus of the role will be handling the portfolio and process ramifications of COVID-19 and helping the team to manage these in both the short and medium terms by enhancing our approach.
Business Profile : TTS Risk covers all product lines offered by TTS Cash, Cards and Trade. The business has revenues totaling $10bn, deposits of $600bn, assets of $125bn and Clearing facilities of $950bn.
and the Issuer Services business in BCMA. These businesses have revenues totaling in excess of $3 bn, assets under custody of c.
Â $15 Trn, and clearing facilities of $308Bn.Key Responsibilities : TTS : Product oversight responsibilities including review / assessment of Product Approval Programs / Local Country Addendums, RACs, NPACs as well as individual dealsPortfolio management responsibilities including follow up of ratings / classification downgrades, past due monitoring, quarterly portfolio reviewsApproval of Clearing excesses and follow up with Coverage teams on rightsizing limitsReviews and Senior escalations on TTSâ management of Overdraft exceptionsBackup approval coverage for TTS Trade Risk SCOs in EMEA and Asia : approve trade transactions via Global Deal Review committeeISSS : Serve as an Independent advisor on risk matters related to and impacting the products / business (Issuer Services, Direct Custody & Clearing, and Custody and Fund Services).
In partnership with the Business, proactively identify risks and in conjunction with other risk functions, and recommend controls and corrective actinsReview client contracts and question / challenge same if deemed to put the Business and / or Citi at risk.
Second line review and escalation of aged and excessive overdrafts & trendsBackup approver for EMEA and Asia Deal reviews and NPACs.

Skills, Â Experience and Education : Undergraduate degree in Business / Finance / Accounting / Economics preferred.A seasoned credit officer, preferably a Senior Credit Officer (SCO) Familiarity with either TTS and ISSS Productssuites Â through previous roles, hands on experience with either or both product suite is a plusSuperior oral and written communication skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and across teams to accomplish goals in a timely manner.Knowledge on any of following Citi specific tools / systems would be very beneficial : CitiRisk (Credit & Facility Management) LMS, GCCS, CLUE, Â RBCSGeneral understanding of payment and securities regulationsGeneral understanding of new technologies like Blockchain, OCR, Robotics, Machine Learning and API.
