Head of Proposition Major & Public Sector and Connectivity Portfolio

The propositions team is at the heart of BT Enterprise and integral to cementing the #1 market position in B2B communications, with responsibility for delivering propositions that add clear differentiated value for both our customers and our business.
Reporting to the Director of Propositions for BT Enterprise, this role is accountable as the Proposition partner for the Major & Public Sector segment as well as the Connectivity portfolio for all our value segments in BT Enterprise.
What you'll be doing
To lead a team of people to be brilliant, setting ambitious targets and creating the right culture for people to thrive and succeed
Developing the propositions team to be the best in industry - forward thinking, creative, innovative and externally focussed
Accountable for creating proposition strategy, vision and 5 year roadmap for Major and Public sector segment, as well as Connectivity portfolio (dedicated internet, WAN, SD WAN etc) for all Enterprise value segments including Medium, Corporate, Major Corporates and Public sector
Accountable for understanding market position, trends, anticipating and mitigating threats. Keeping a constant pulse on what’s happening in the market
Accountable for developing a comprehensive understanding of the sales channels and customer segments that are served
Accountable for ensuring BT Enterprise remains market leader with our overall connectivity portfolio in value segments

Collaborative and highly trusting of their colleagues; is able to clearly explain what they want and is skilled at holding people to account.
Someone who is able to challenge the status quo and influence across Enterprise, BT & the wider industry in order to transform our customer relationships and experience
Strategic thinker with proven experience driving daily concepts to deliver longer term vision with the ability to cut through barriers to bring real clarity and focus to delivering for our customers
An ability to get buy in for proposition strategy and roadmap across all stakeholders in BT Enterprise, at all levels from CEO, MD to managerial
A proven ability to manage and develop a large team, inspire and motivate, and improve performance year on year
To lead by example, holding people to the highest standards but with respect, humility and integrity
Mandatory Skills Required :
Clear track record of developing innovative proposition concepts, using customer and market insight
Clear track record of delivering complex / large scale Propositions into market
B2B market knowledge & experience, in particular public sector
Detailed knowledge and experience of Connectivity propositions and market
Engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels from CEO to managerial across multiple areas
