We have an exciting opportunity at RSK for you to join RSK Geosciences. Working alongside an experienced team based in Glasgow you will get involved with a wide variety of geo-environmental and geotechnical projects including investigations in relation to development / regeneration, energy infrastructure, environmental permitting and Part IIA.
Key clients include Scottish Power Energy Networks (SPEN), Shell, Fife Council and several other Scottish local authorities.
RSK Environment was recently awarded a place on the new Scotland Excel Framework on five lots, including Lot 6 which covers Geoscience related projects.
Best Re-use of Materials (2018 and 2020) and Best Infrastructure Project (2020). We were also highly commended for Best Scoping or Operation of a Site Investigation (2018).
What you can expect in this position
A Geo-environmental Engineer is responsible for undertaking site assessments, with a focus on desk and site-based work. This will include both geo-environmental and geotechnical site investigations, data interpretation, risk assessment and reporting.
This role would suit some with a proactive can do approach, close attention to detail, enthusiasm to get the job done well and ability to get on with a wide range of people.
At least 1 2 years previous relevant work experience in consultancy would be beneficial. Good verbal and written communication skills are essential.
