Teacher of Geography

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a passionate and inspiring Geography Teacher for a small secondary school located in the Middlesbrough area.

The school, made up of just over 600 pupils require the successful candidate to start in the Middle of January.

You will be required to create a varied and flexible approach to the Geography curriculum, promoting differentiation and commitment to pupil progress.

It is essential that you can teach Geography from KS3-KS4 and have worked off a UK based curriculum previously.

Essential

  • Have worked in UK secondary schools previously
  • Taught 9-1 GCSE Geography
  • Can adapt to new situations quickly & have the ability to think on your feet
  • Have an upbeat and positive attitude towards the education of young people
  • Hold QTS, a DBS certificate registered on the Update Service
  • Teaching Personnel have been providing supply staff since 1996 to secondary, primary and SEN schools throughout England and Wales since.

    Our Teesside Secondary office specifically works with secondary schools across the area however do cover schools across the North East.

    We are hoping to meet with a Geography teacher who can make a positive contribution to teaching and learning, joining the school on its journey to becoming an exceptional school.

    Our client schools are both large modern secondary’s, only a short drive from public transport links. Staff and students can benefit from state of the art facilities including a specialised learning support unit for students to work away from mainstreams lessons.
