About the role

The role of the Application Integration Consultant is to consult on application developments, application deployments, technical administration, problem identification and resolution in order to support users and clients of the RUFUS GTA suite of applications.

Main activities

  • Technical leadership across all ASD technical teams.
  • To consult and provide guidance on new product development ensuring that new developments will fit within the production environment.
  • To consult and provide guidance on new client projects ensuring that any new client projects will fit within the production environment with no contention on infrastructure.
  • Management of escalated and client sensitive issues with real time reporting to senior ASD management, Service Delivery Managers and back to the client.
  • To undertake in-depth investigations into complex businesstechnical problems with the goal to understanding root cause and consequently passing to the Bravura Development Team detailing the suggested code resolution.
  • Ensuring the appropriate level of call management is being applied in line with the clients Service Level Agreements.
  • To identify trends in issues raised and report back with potential solutions to other support teams and senior support management.
  • To continuously look to improve the production service through the improvement of processes and procedures via technical solution.
  • To consult on and be an active member of the departments System Deployment Team. Ensuring that all deployments follow the standard deployment process.
  • To be successful in this role candidates will require :

  • Able to communicate with front end users, senior business users, consultancydevelopment staff and senior management.
  • Very Strong understanding of all aspects of the systemssoftware development life cycle.
  • Strong Technical knowledge of programmingdebugging in C# and
  • In depth understanding of System design and IT infrastructure inclusive of networking , web services, security and firewall concepts.
  • In depth understanding of database concepts, which will include design, interrogation (SQL) , maintenance and performance tuning.
  • Strong customer delivery focus
