A leading investment bank is looking for a Netting Lawyer to join their Prime Services team on an initial 12 month contract basis out of their City office.

As an integral member of a busy legal team you will be responsible for :

  • updating master agreement templates, policies and procedures
  • negotiating master agreements and ensuring netting flags are recorded
  • developing negotiation policies for all agreements governing the services, products and transactions offered by the prime services team
  • negotiation and drafting of trading, clearing and prime brokerage documentation including derivatives clearing documentation, prime brokerage agreements, broker terms of business in addtion to ISDA documentation, GMRAs, GMSLAs etc
  • drafting of documentation fro structured transactions
  • netting - determining position on netting / collateral enforceability
  • support the delivery of the Netting Report project
  • To be considered for this role you will be 4+ years PQE with relevant experience in a similar role. You will be able to demonstrate a high level of technical knowledge and be able to work effectively within a busy organisation.
