Job Description

We’re looking for a Senior Experience Designer to join our team. If you’re an interaction designer with proven UX experience and a strong portfolio to match, a passion for making work that matters, and an interest in working across a range of product design and digital marketing projects, this could be the role for you.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As Senior Experience Designer, you will work as part of our creative team. You will help shape experience strategies and concepts, will champion the customer and their needs, and will own the design decisions and specifications that help teams deliver high-value, high-quality experiences that improve health outcomes.

In this hands-on role you will work across a wide range of agency projects, using your skills to shape the ways customers experience healthcare brands through product, content, tools, and other digital interactions.

Day to day responsibilities :

Develop and communicate design concepts, using sketches, journey maps, flows, or presentations

Hands-on creation of user journeys, stories, scenarios, wireframes, mockups, low and high fidelity prototypes as well as presentation-quality information design and interaction design concepts

Design and validate user interfaces and experiences for multiple platforms across websites, social media and mobile

Understand and champion customer insights and needs, and use that knowledge to inform experience design decisions. Document those requirements in the form of user stories and other design artefacts which help focus and align teams

Create experience design principles and design systems which bring harmony to the user experience across interfaces, screens and platforms

Integrate and problem solve based on feedback from users, clients and team members

Present your work in a compelling way covering insights, design decisions and rationale, and experience recommendations

Partner with strategy teams to understand business requirements, document functional specifications and create service blueprints

Use your familiarity with a range of user research methods to support and contribute to user research, user co-design, and user testing

Lead, facilitate, and participate in CX workshops with internal teams, clients and customers

Partner with technical teams to understand platform and technical limitations, to ensure that the designed solution is achievable.

Have a strong working knowledge of standard technology platforms, their potential and their limitations (Salesforce, Adobe, Veeva, etc)

Partner with clients and teams to solve for customer experience and customer value

Develop information architecture deliverables (sitemaps, taxonomies, flow diagrams)

Maintain a rigorous attention to detail across all design deliverables and specifications

Apply your flexible approach to a range of projects in the Agency including

Consulting / advising UI designers on experience / interaction design

Creating wireframes and UX specifications to inform interface designs

Collaborating to shape experience concepts, sketches, storyboards

Working as the UX or UX / UI designer in product design sprints, using agile methodologies

Contributing to service blueprinting / service design projects

Innovation

Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements in UX strategy

Be the go to person within the agency for the latest UX trends

Contribute to thought leadership initiatives in UX strategy

Contribute to the evolution of our UX practice and to our reputation for Customer Experience Design

General

Thrive in a collaborative environment, where responsibility for solving for customer needs is shared across teams

Have strong knowledge of and experience working in agile / sprint projects, and co-designing solutions with users, clients, technical teams and agency partners

Build strong relationships inside our Agency, with our clients, and with members of sister agencies across Publicis Health and Publicis Groupe

Support new business initiatives and pitches

Build presentations, and present them coherently and concisely, with authority

Communicate daily regarding project status with appropriate team members

Manage workload and deadlines, submit timesheets, and comply with agency processes

Qualifications

You are an interaction designer with a background and training in user experience (UX) design

You’re a skilled wireframer and prototyper, who loves designing interfaces, experiences, products and tools which deliver real value to people

You are a systems thinker who is skilled at using maps, drawings, and models to simplify complex interactions into easily-understood patterns and interactions

You are an integral team player in a fast-moving, commercial environment with demanding deadlines, and confidently partner with strategy, creative and technical teams throughout the project life cycle

You are flexible in approach and have a range of tools and methods at your disposal; you know when to use low-fidelity sketches vs.

high-fidelity designs, the value of a clickable prototype, and what details to cover in your specifications documents. You are confident with a range of software tools and technology

You are well-versed in design thinking, human-centred design, human computer interaction, and the latest technology trends, and bring with you a solid grasp of usability and functional design best practices to inform the creation of digital interfaces, apps, services and tools

You are principled and articulate about the value of user-centred design, but pragmatic in adapting the UX toolkit to successfully meet project requirements.

You are a self-starter and a problem-solver, and have the ability to advance projects autonomously, while fostering a collaborative approach with other internal and external teams
