    To enable Corporate Shipbuilding to be the centre of excellence we aspire to be, we are looking for an Industrial IT and Cyber Security Engineer to join the team.

    This role will be based within our Systems Integration team, providing guidance and expertise in industrial IT systems and cyber security design, as well as managing interactions with key stakeholders.

    You will be providing and applying management and technical expertise in Industrial IT systems, to the specification, design, construction and conversion of passenger vessels. This includes :

  • Reviewing the plan approval drawings for Industrial IT;
  • Evaluation of specialist equipment specifications and Industrial IT designs;
  • Continuous review of the latest regulations and impact on design specifications.
  • The right candidate for this position will be someone who enjoys working as part of a team, but will drive their interactions with the business in their area of expertise.

    We are looking for someone with :

  • Degree or Masters qualified in Computer Science and or Electrical Engineering;
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in Industrial IT and Cyber Security;
  • Specific experience of the design and implementation of Industrial IT systems;
  • Ideally with some experience of Shipbuilding and the Cruise sector.
  • This role can provide the right individual with a fantastic opportunity to develop their career in the Cruise Shipbuilding sector, and gain exposure in the development of the next generation of ships for some of the world’s most iconic cruising brands.
