Our highly skilled and motivated Specialists act as consultants, tailoring our products and services to the

needs of the traveller to ensure their travel experience exceeds all their needs and expectations. Our Specialists will be the face of CIBT to our customers, acting as ambassadors of the brand by delivering service excellence.

They have the ability to excite our customers and deliver on the CIBT commitment.

The despatch team despatches and coordinates all mail from CIBT London Office, this includes Embassy work,

Secure DX Mail, Royal Mail, International deliveries, National Deliveries, Overnights.

The primary role of the

Despatch Consultant is to support the Courier Controller, Despatch Team Leader and Despatch Manager.

The Despatch Consultant must also assist clients on despatch challenges, creating and implementing solutions to

overcome these challenges and working with the client to meet realistic expectations, resolving any issues

that arise and liaise with teammates to ensure a successful outcome is reached.

  • Check visas and passports have been issued correctly and advise clients of any changes
  • Book deliveries with Secure Mail, book same day couriers, Overnight and International deliveries with Courier Systems and arrange the CIBT runs
  • Charge credit card details and close files
  • Post paper invoices
  • Organise the original documents file and ensure all original documents are sent back to the clients
  • Take calls regarding despatch related queries and manage the despatch mail box in a timely manner
  • Ensure accurate information is being provided to clients upon their despatch delivery request
  • Be flexible in shift rotation to create a true sense of team work
  • Work closely with other areas across the business to support ongoing improvements
  • To undertake all other reasonable duties as requested by the Despatch Manager
  • Ensure that all required travel documents are returned to the traveller in accordance with their date
