Summary :

We are looking for a BREEAM Assessor to assist with the delivery of an existing workload of projects and, in time, develop new work through business development activities with internal and external clients.

Essential to this role is an understanding of the technical application of BREEAM and other sustainability tools within the construction sector.

Requirements :

The role includes a portfolio of sustainability-related work in areas such as :

  • BREEAM assessments
  • DREAM Assessments
  • Sustainability statements
  • MOD Sustainability appraisals
  • About You :

    The successful candidate should have a well-developed understanding of the importance of sustainability in the construction sector and an understanding of the key current sustainability related construction legislation.

    The ideal candidate will have experience of undertaking both Design and Construction Stage BREEAM assessments and can demonstrate a working knowledge of the BREEAM process and methodologies.

    Essential :

  • Project experience in BREEAM and sustainable construction
  • Degree educated in relevant subject (Sustainability, Environment, Energy or equivalent)
  • Broad skills in the sustainability field, applicable to the types of project listed above
  • Effective writing skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage a challenging and diverse workload
  • Desirable :

  • Masters degree in relevant subject
  • A registered BREEAM Assessor and / or BREEAM AP
  • We seek a motivated individual, a self-starter and initiator with excellent client facing skills and with an enthusiasm for the subject.

    Ideally you will bring tangible sustainability, energy and resource efficiency consultancy related skills and experience, together with a positive and proactive team-working attitude.
