Role Summary :
Responsible for customer relationship management, through contact with external partners and internal colleagues. To provide up to date and accurate information both proactively and reactively to out extensive network of customers globally
The role allows for a STOP WORK to be implemented relating to either Quality or Health Safety and Environment, to ensure the wellbeing of all staff and visitors as well as protection to the business and customers.

Responsibilities & Requirements : To be the first point of contact for customers seeking information on orders they have with Flowserve and by working with colleagues across the business, provide reliable and accurate updates and a professional view of the business.
To work pro-actively to identify and either fix or communicate issues to customers in a positive way.
Provide limited technical information when requested and act as a conduit for customer requests for technical information in other cases, by obtaining from other departments and providing to customers in a timely way.
Expedite with the business by liaising with the Planning, Purchasing & Manufacturing teams.
To contribute to ensuring that all customer orders are shipped in a timely and efficient manner by working closely with the site planning team.
To provide support with the management of the incoming Purchase Order mailbox, reviewing each order for various flags and requirements and entering the information with 100% accuracy into SAP.
To manage incoming Purchase Orders and review to ensure all necessary information is present, returning to either the customer or Commercial Operations team for amendment if necessary.
To maintain a database of special customer requirements and apply these to incoming orders.
Ability to project manage small contracts from the Order Entry stage to final shipment of goods to the customer. To be able to problem solve and hold contract reviews when required.

Preferred Experience / Skills : Self-motivated and able to work independently, unsupervised, at times
A strong background in service delivery and a drive to provide an exceptional level of customer service
The ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Willingness to work as part of a team in meeting daily demands and department objectives, including the sharing of workloads where necessary
An individual who enjoys working with data and figures and prides themselves on accurate and timely deliverables.
Computer literacy with a knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook
Knowledge of, or experience with SAP systems desirable but not essential
Knowledge of the valve or industrial flow control industry is desirable but not essential
